Every guide, calculator and correction on Fiscora is written and maintained by one person. That is a deliberate constraint, and it is worth being explicit about what it does and does not buy you as a reader.

Who I am

I am Maher. I curate MetaX.Academy, an independent educational publisher, and Fiscora is its personal-finance desk. MetaX exists because most instructional material teaches yesterday's tactics with today's confidence; Fiscora applies the same objection to money content, where the incentive problem is sharper because the products paying the highest commissions are rarely the ones a reader should buy first.

I am not a licensed financial adviser, an accountant, or a broker, and nothing here is personalised advice. What I do is build the arithmetic behind a decision, show the working, and let you change the inputs until the answer is yours rather than mine.

Why one author, namedA site that invents a masthead of credentialed-sounding analysts is easier to trust and harder to hold accountable. One name, attached to every page, is the honest version โ€” and it means a correction has somewhere to land.

How I write a guide

  1. Start from a decision, not a keywordEvery piece begins with a question someone actually has to answer this month, with money attached to getting it wrong.
  2. Build the model before the proseIf the decision contains arithmetic, the calculator is built and stress-tested first. The writing then explains the model, rather than decorating a conclusion I had already chosen.
  3. Publish the assumptions, not just the answerEvery model on this site exposes its inputs. If you disagree with my vacancy rate, my discount rate or my tax bracket, you can change it and watch the conclusion move.
  4. State the limitsEach model page says what it does not account for. A deterministic projection presented as a forecast is a lie with a chart attached.
  5. Date it and revisit itRate-sensitive pages carry an updated date because they go stale. Knowledge decays; pretending otherwise is the most common failure in this genre.

What I will not do

  • Run affiliate comparison tables. There are no affiliate relationships behind any recommendation on this site.
  • Claim credentials I do not hold. Where a decision genuinely needs a CPA, an attorney or a licensed adviser, the guide says so.
  • Invent precision. Model outputs are estimates from your inputs, not predictions about your life.
  • Send your numbers anywhere. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. There is no endpoint receiving them.

How Fiscora is funded

Advertising, and nothing else. Display units are clearly labelled and selected programmatically by the ad platform, not chosen by me. No advertiser sees a draft, requests a change, or is told what a page will say. Read the editorial policy for the full separation, and the privacy notice for how advertising cookies and consent work.

Corrections and contact

If a number here is wrong, I would rather hear it from you than leave it standing. Corrections are made on the page itself rather than quietly edited away. The fastest route is the contact page.
